This TR provides for the modification to the procedures for <br />sealing gob vent boreholes. OMLLC is presenting the modification in compliance with CDRMS <br />Rule 4.07.3(1) for boreholes not located in an aquifer. Where boreholes, such as gob vent <br />boreholes, are completed by cementing a steel casing in place, we propose to plug the cased <br />borehole at least 10 feet from the surface then sealing with cement to the surface. <br />Please see the enclosed modified PAP pages 2.05-69a and 2.05-69b for the proposed modified <br />text. Please be aware that the boreholes completed to the D seam coal are not located in an <br />aquifer as the nearest aquifer is the in the <br />Attached please find a proposed public notice which will be published in the Delta County <br />Independent upon notification by the Division that this application is complete.
