(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1980-178 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 01/06/10 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS THM <br />This inspection was conducted as part of the normal monitoring program est of shed b the Colorado Dr vision <br />off of <br />east of Gateway, <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety. The Moores Pit is located 10.0 miles <br />Highway 141, in Mesa County. The site is a 110c operation that consists of 9.96 acres. assess <br />reclamation The purpose of this inspection was to observe the current <br />The conversion proposes <br />rsion from a 110c to theas1ite <br />requirements and the acreage addition proposed in the cone <br />to add a total of 24.3 acres for a total of 34.2 acres. <br />The pit was operating during the inspection and dump trucks were observed being loaded with material by a wheeled <br />loader. The crusher and conveyors have been reconfigured since the December 2008 inspection. <br />inspection. <br />Snow covered the majority of the pit and proposed location during the <br />observed wrthinethedp oposed <br />permit consisted primarily of pinion and juniper. A few natural drainages <br />expansion. The drainages appear to only convey water during significant storm run-off events. . The The proposed portion of the added acreage runs adjacent to Highway sk 141 along the southern of added rock falling on the highway.
