Greg Lewicid And Associates, PLLC
1.1541 Warrington Court Phone: (303) 346-51% Fax (303)-346-6934
Parker, CO USA 80138 F Mail: info )ewieki.biz
r;?rc rte- ?c7m /' ,
January 6, 2010
JAN 0
Jared Ebert
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: Korinek #1 Pit, DRMS M-1979-131, Coversion 01, Adequacy Response #2
This response is to address concerns mentioned in the January 4, 2010 adequacy response
number two for the Korinek #I permit conversion application.
1. Paul and Evellyn Gray Trust landowner does not exist in the Crowley County database
for that land parcel. This tract is in fact owner by Quarter Circle LT, Inc. with Bill Gray
as the contact. Therefore the existing public notice is correct. Map C-1 has been corrected
to reflect the landowner situation.
2. The inclusion of Mr. David Ross in the public notice mailings was an error. He is not a
point of contact for any of the neighboring landowners.
3. Map C-1 has been updated with the County Lane names.
4. In order to keep the reclamation liability bond limited, the operator has committed to
keeping the total disturbance at any give time to 10 acres. This may require significant
reclamation of currently mined out areas of the pit in order to allow new disturbance.
Please let me know if there are any other concerns.
Sincerely
Ben Langenfeld, Project Engineer
Greg Lewicki and Associates.
