This request also remains pending at this <br />time. <br />SEDIMENT POND INSPECTIONS AND DISCHARGES <br />The Carbon Junction Mine had two sediment ponds, 001 and 002. Michael Savage of <br />Savage and Savage, Inc. prepared inspection reports for both sediment ponds during the <br />first (October 29, 2008) and second (March 31, 2009) quarters of the 2009 water year. <br />Sediment pond inspection reports and the request for quarterly inspection termination and <br />concurrence are appended. No significant concerns were identified during the <br />inspections. <br />Sediment ponds 001 and 002 did not discharge during water year 2009.
