S. With ongoing permitting and approvals concurrent with TCC's submittal of TR70 revised pages,
there are portions of text that were approved in previous revisions; PR8, TR66, TR69, MR230, MR238,
that have either been lost from the TR70 approved pages, or shifted to other pages. The Division has
copied those approved pages that have lost information with submittal of TCC's revised TR70 pages.
Please assure that previously approved text is not lost with submittal of TCC's TR70 revised pages.
Also, TR70 pages 2.05-45.7 through 2.05-45.19 were previously approved as 2.05-45.6b through 2.05-
45.61. Does TCC wish to change the numbering of these pages, or return to the previously approved
numbering scheme? Please assure that each revised page has a unique page number. Two revised
pages numbered 2.05-84.7 were submitted with the revision package.
Response: The referenced text has been reviewed, and revised, as appropriate. The information
previously approved for pages 2.05-45.6b and 45.6c is on revised pages 2.05-45.7 through 45.9; for
pages 2.05-45.6k and 45.61 is on revised pages 2.05-45.18 and 45.19; for pages 2.05-50.1 and 51 is on
pages 2.05-50a, 50.1, 50.6, 50.7, and 51; for page 2.05-84.7 is on revised pages 2.05-84.6 and 84.7;
and for page 2.05-106.1 is on revised pages 2.05-106.1 and 106.2. Copies of the revised text pages
accompany these responses for replacement in the PAP document.
6 On revised page 2.05-45.19 (1111612009) TCC states that reseeding of the disturbances associated
with this revision will be seeded with the appropriate seed mix following grading and topsoil
replacement. Please define which approved seed mix will be used.
Response: The referenced text addresses both the 18-Left Shaft Site and the 18-Left Mine Water
Transfer Pipeline. The two disturbances will be seeded with different seed mixtures, as detailed in the
Reclamation Plan section, so a generic reference to seed mixture was used. The Rangeland Seed Mix
will be used to reseed all disturbance areas along the pipeline corridor. Given that disturbance and soil
material replacement will occur over a relatively brief timeframe, replaced soil material will contain
viable native vegetation propagules, and should be effective in promoting reestablishment of
vegetation similar to that which existed prior to disturbance in all areas (including those lowland areas
adjacent to the Fish Creek stream channel). The referenced text has been reviewed, and revised, to
clarify the plans for revegetation. Copies of the revised text pages accompany these responses for
replacement in the PAP document.
