PERMANENT MAN -MADE STRUCTURES EXHIBIT S
The following is an inventory of man-made structures within 200 feet of the permit area. All of
these structures are shown on Maps C -1, C -2, and F. The landowner boundaries are shown on
Map C -1. Letters from the structure owners are on the following pages.
a) A power line runs along the south side of the permit boundary, and also crosses the
permit boundary at two points. The west crossing is in the currently reclaimed area, and
no disturbance will take place here. The point of crossing to the east is immediately south
of the industrial yard. The industrial yard is used mostly for storage of unused equipment
and a topsoil stockpile. The topsoil pile will be removed, but no excavation below
original ground level will take place. No excavation of original topography will take
place. The topsoil stockpile is 100' from the power line.
b) A fence runs along the southwest side of the permit boundary for a distance of 600'.
c) Several buildings are present along the south side of the property, including a residence
and several storage sheds.
d) A portion of County Lane 15 will be moved as a part of mining. This section only serves
as access to the Korinek property. A letter from the Crowley County Commissioners
approving this road modification is attached.
Korinek #1 Pit August 09 S -1
