DENVRI WATER <br />December 29, 2009 <br />Jim Dupler <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: MLRB Permit Number M- 1979 -195 (Road Runners Rest) <br />Dear Mr. Dupler: <br />This letter shall serve as Denver Water's annual report for the permit referenced above. <br />The $791.00 fee is enclosed. <br />In 2007, Cruise and Associates began removal and cleanup of the remaining materials in <br />the Hazeltine and Road Runners Rest gravel pit properties, which will be combined to form a <br />single water storage vessel. In 2009, approximately 235,000 cubic yards of material were <br />removed from the combined sites. The majority of this material (70 %) was common fill. For <br />more specific information, please see the enclosed map of the properties and summary of <br />materials that were removed. <br />Cruise and Associates plans to remove approximately 300,000 cubic yards of material, <br />the majority of which will be common fill, perform site maintenance, and conduct dewatering at <br />the Hazeltine and Road Runners sites in 2010.
