V) Exhibit L Reclamation Cost 6.4.12
A) The detailed reclamation cost estimate is for 10 acres. During the per - operational
inspection DRMS and the operator observed the old 110 area, even though it had
been reported not to be affected, is already affected and the operator is going to
utilize these areas as temporary top soil storage area and temporarily reclaim
these areas. Does the 10 acre cost estimate provide include these areas or phases
1 and II of the conversion application. What about the 5 acres that will be utilized
as processing and storage areas? Please explain.
B) The cost estimate also includes the reconstructing of approximately 100 feet
3HAV, slopes on 15 ft high wall with 50 ft benches every 10 vertical feet. However,
under the mining plan, the narrative states the benches if required will be every 15
ft vertical high wall height. Please explain.
If you have questions please contact me at (303) 866 -3567 ext 8129.
Sincerely,
Berhan Keffelew
Environmental Protection Specialist
