Once <br />the samples was diluted, an iron hydroxide precipitate formed resulting in the need to filter the sample. <br />Total (distilled) Cyanide was diluted at 1:10 and Cyanide WAD was diluted at 1:5. AW 10/20/09 <br />Direct (Free) Cyanide sample was diluted at 1:10. The fact that the Free Cyanide value is higher than <br />the Total (Distilled) Cyanide value is most likely due to a matrix interference within the sample.
