• BOWIE RESOURCES LIMITED <br />Permit No. 11 OL252-6 <br />Initial Approval <br />Page 2 <br />4. Emissions of air pollutants shall not exceed the following limitations (as calculated in the Division's <br />preliminary analysis). Compliance with the annual limits shall be determined an a rolling (12) month <br />total. By the end of each month a new twelve month total is calculated based on the previous <br />twelve months' data. The permit holder shall calculate monthly emissions and keep a compliance <br />record on site for Division review. (Reference: Regulation 3, Part B, III.A.4) <br />Particulate Matter : .............. 0.87 pounds per day, 0.0061 tons per month, and <br />0.073 tons per year <br />PMto (Particulate Matter<10 /tm): ...' 0.42 pounds per day, 0.0029 tons per month, and <br />0.035 tons per,year <br />During the first twelve (12) months of operation, compliance with the daily, monthly, and yearly <br />emission limitations shall be required. After the first twelve (12) months of operation, compliance <br />with only the daily and yearly limitations shall be required. Compliance with the yearly emission <br />limits shall be determined on a rolling twelve (12) month total. <br />The permit holder shall calculate emissions monthly and keep a compliance record on site in order <br />to demonstrate compliance with the above emission limitations. After the first twelve (12) months <br />• of operation, the permit holder shall calculate annual emissions by the end of each month. Annual <br />emissions shall be calculated based on the previous twelve i12) months' emission data. These <br />calculated annual emissions shall be used to demonstrate compliance with the yearly emission limit <br />listed above. <br />5. The truck loading shall be fully enclosed and vented to a baghouse. Loading area shall be under <br />negative pressure during loading. <br />6. The baghouse referenced in condition number 5 shall be capable of reducing uncontrolled emissions <br />of particulates and PM,a by at least 99.0%. Operating parameters of the control equipment shall <br />be identified prior to final approval of this permit. The identified operating parameters will replace <br />the control efficiency requirement on the final permit. (Reference: Reg.3, Part B,IV.E.) <br />7. This source is limited to the following maximum number of hours of operation. A log shall be <br />maintained on site listing the actual number of hours of operation per day, and shall be made <br />available upon request to the Division. <br />Hours of operation shall not exceed 20 hours per day. <br />• <br />29/8!5 <br />
