§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING
ACTIVITIES -- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION
PLANS.
The ponds will be removed following usage with the
approval of the DMG. They will be adequately
backfilled and riprapped. Currently plans are to
remove the dam, backfill the pond, and restore natural
drainage.

(D) There has been no past underground mining in the
area of either pond.

(ii) Design Plans
The maps, plans and cross sections for the loadout and
stockpile ponds were prepared by or under the direction of and
certified by Matthew Sakurada, P.E., a qualified professional
engineer with engineering experience in the design and
construction of sedimentation ponds, excess spoil and
underground development waste facilities.
(iii) Reservoirs.
Neither sediment pond has a capacity of over 1,000 acre feet
or a dam embankment in excess of 10 feet in vertical height.
