§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING <br />ACTIVITIES -- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION <br />PLANS. <br />The ponds will be removed following usage with the <br />approval of the DMG. They will be adequately <br />backfilled and riprapped. Currently plans are to <br />remove the dam, backfill the pond, and restore natural <br />drainage. <br />(C) See Exhibit 8 <br />(D) There has been no past underground mining in the <br />area of either pond. <br />(E) No response required. <br />(ii) Design Plans <br />The maps, plans and cross sections for the loadout and <br />stockpile ponds were prepared by or under the direction of and <br />certified by Matthew Sakurada, P.E., a qualified professional <br />engineer with engineering experience in the design and <br />construction of sedimentation ponds, excess spoil and <br />underground development waste facilities. <br />(iii) Reservoirs. <br />Neither sediment pond has a capacity of over 1,000 acre feet <br />or a dam embankment in excess of 10 feet in vertical height. <br />TR-020 <br />2.05 - 1 S <br />3/01 <br />
