• The proposed area has never been mined, however, further land use information relative to
the mine site and adjacent areas is provided on the Weld County Extraction Plan Map,
prepared by Weld County Planning Commission, July 1, 1975. This map (see page 36),
shows the area designated as "Strippable Coal resources".
