Land and Mineral Ownership, and Disturbed Areas <br />Land ownership in the permit area is comprised of 1,620 acres of private land and 1,820 acres of <br />federal land. Mineral ownership in the permit area is federal and private. The mine disturbed a total <br />of 65.30 acres of surface lands, all on privately-owned land, as shown in Table 1.
