•

2.05.4(2)(b)
0
Reclaim Haul Road

The following section provides an estimate of the
cost to reclaim the haul roads associated with mining area No. 3.
Technical revision number 4 deleted the requirement for this
reclamation work. However, this information will be maintained in
the permit for continuity purposes.
Approximately 2500 feet of haul road and 2000 feet
of access road may be reclaimed. The operation necessary to
reclaim the road involves pushing material into the borrow ditches
and leveling the road in preparation for topsoil placement. The
typical road sections shown on Drawing Nos. 131 & 132 indicates
that the volume of material to move to reclaim the road is minimal.
The majority of work required will be leveling the road for topsoil
placement. It is estimated that a track type dozer can reclaim
1000' of road per day. Total cost to reclaim the haul road is 36
Hrs. X $150.00 = $5,400. The placement of topsoil on the haul road
is provided for in the topsoil category above.
Seed and Mulch 10 Acres
It is presented above that the topsoil stockpile
will cover a total of 10 acres.
Total Seed and Mulch Cost per Acre 513.90
From Page 2.05-19
USE $525/Acre
Fence
The fencing required to fence the disturbed pit
areas and the topsoil stockpile is 5,000 feet. Use 5,000 feet of
three strand barbed wire fence at $1.50 per foot.
88-203-00.
Drill Holes
A drill hole summary contained in exhibit 15 and
shown on Map 133, shows the number of drill holes contained within
the permit area, inside the disturbed area and outside the permit
area. All of the drill holes inside the permit area and inside the
disturbed area have been permanently sealed and therefore no
bonding for the drill holes is required. The drill holes outside
the permit area will remain under the jurisdiction of the
Lillylands, Inc. coal exploration permit, notice of intent no. X-
2.05-20iv
September 1994
