In <br />today's troubled economy, homegrown business and 9 �nU help our local ecouumues. Mmmg m thus area <br />carries a long tradition; a tradition that ultimately brought Colorado into statehood. This Yeas marked 150 <br />Anniversary of the discovery of gold in Clear Creek County. <br />I am familiar with Venture Resources' Project, and am spechically aware that: <br />• A mineisl processing ms`ll and tailings impoundment is proposed. <br />• The project will be processing abandoned mine waste rock. <br />• This is a local comPany drat plans on firing local residents and supporting local businesses• <br />By processing abandoned mine waste mcic and.removing <br />the acid fora i and heavy metal cOOWI aII the <br />proposed, project will go a long way to beginning to imprrove the conditions of the Cteac Clwk watershed- Finally, a <br />pro. active solution instead of the current. ones that do little, or nothing.
