amec Earth 8 Envirgnmentai Blast pattern drilling was performed in the following areas: between stations A6 +15 ( + / -) and A7 +20 ( + / -), approximately 15 feet left of centerline to 40 feet right of centerline; between stations H3 +50 ( + / -) and H5 +40 ( + / -), approximately 0 to 75 feet left of centerline; between stations H9 +25 ( + / -) and 1110 +80 ( + / -), approximately 50 feet left of centerline to 50 feet right of centerline; and between stations F2 +35 ( + / -) and F3 +70 ( + / -), approximately 0 to 100 feet right of centerline using three track mounted drill rigs. Blasting was performed in these areas Monday (11/9/2009), Tuesday (11/10/2009), Wednesday (11/11/2009), and Thursday (11/12/2009). G) Material Processing 1) South Cresson Clay Processing Area Processing of Soil Liner Fill material continued at the South Cresson Clay Process. A CAT D -8 dozer, a CAT 320 excavator, and a CAT 966 front -end loader were used to process the material. Total 8,397 163,175 H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines Welding of the steel portion of the ADR waterline continued. Approximately 180 linear feet of each pipe size (10" and 12 ") was installed during the week. Testing of the welds to be performed next week. Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 980 front -end loader. The pipe bedding material was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator. Approximately 700 linear feet of pipe trench was excavated and bedded during the week. After preliminary air testing of the previously installed Crushing waterline HDPE pipe, backfilling was performed. Approximately 500 linear feet of pipe trench was backfilled using a CAT 980 - front -end loader and a CAT 330 excavator. I) Miscellaneous No work performed during the week. III) Underground Workings A) Drilling The 84" culvert was capped using concrete, and a temporary 10" drainpipe was installed in this area. B) Mine Shaft /Stope Remediation Coordinates received from John Lupo were staked, locating the Thompson and Kitty Lane underground workings. The Thompson shaft (UG #3008) is in a fill area. A CAT 345 excavator was used to attempt to encounter the shaft. The area was excavated to approximately 15 feet in depth and hard rock was encountered.
