A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase nm be in the D• riy . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi -page documents. On a Windows -AP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they d2 work with QuickView. The imaging Viewer that comes with pre - Windows X.P computers <br />does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "hfanView ", which can be downloaded frona IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "Irf inView ", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer, DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the - licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. 'f here are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />instrucftnsz: <br />I. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which rums the Quickview <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the Qu ickview program <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.mininz,-;tate.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DRMS of ee or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of mailing the CD.
