appropriate and reasonable given the direction in the White River National Forest Land and <br />Resource Management Plan and that District Ranger Davidson provided information supporting <br />the logic and rationale for her decision. Mr. Janowiak recommended affirmation of District <br />Ranger Davidson's decision. Please see the ARO's recommendation letter (enclosed) for further <br />discussion of each of the appeal points. <br />DECISION <br />After reviewing the appeal record, I agree with Mr. Janowiak's analysis, as presented in the <br />recommendation letter. The record is adequate to support the District Ranger Davidson's <br />decision. All appeal issues raised have been considered. The District Ranger's decision is <br />affirmed and the appellant's request for relief is denied. <br />The project may be implemented on, but not before, the 150, business day following the date of <br />this letter (36 CFR 215.9(b)). <br />This decision constitutes the final administrative determination of the Department of Agriculture <br />(36 CFR 215.18)). <br />Sincerely, <br />/s/ Scott G.
