PROPOSED PUBLIC NOTICE <br />ENERGY FUELS COAL, INC. - SOUTHFIELD LOADOUT SITE <br />TECHNICAL REVISION NO. _ - TERMINATION OF WATER <br />MONITORING IN OAK CREEK <br />Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. (EFCI) has filed an application with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety (DRMS) for termination of water monitoring in Oak Creek which is adjacent to the <br />Loadout site located approximately one mile west of Florence in Fremont County, Colorado. EFCI was the <br />lessee, operator and permittee under Permit No. C-81-014. The surface is owned by Daniel Adamic et al <br />and the Santa Fe Railroad right of way traverses the length of the property. <br />Loading operations ceased in 1996 and the Loadout site was reclaimed in 1997. The purpose of <br />the Technical Revision No. _ is to terminate the water monitoring requirement of two sample sites located <br />in the Oak Creek drainage which skirts the southwest permit boundary of the west Loadout site. During the <br />tenure of EFCI's Loadout and reclamation operations, water samples collected and analyzed have shown <br />no detrimental effect to the receiving waters of Oak Creek caused by operations at the Loadout site.
