We also have a new comment 3i.
2. Map King II-007 A, B, C.
b. Please submit the drawing of the details of the headwall construction which Detail 1 on
Sheet 2 says will be submitted later. It is not shown on Map King II-007F submitted
November 30, 2009.
3. Appendix 11(1)
i. Please add to the pond as-built design a SEDCAD run for the 25-year, 24-hour storm.
8. Section 2.03.8, page 1.
a. Please revise the text so that it is clear how many acres of surface affected area are
planned:
i. For the current 5-year permit term. The revised page submitted on
November 30, 2009 shows only the number of acres for the total life of the
mine. Also, the submittal of November 30, 2009 contains a revised Map
King II-007 which does not show the details of underground mine
workings as shown on the previous version of this map submitted in TR-
15 on October 14, 2008. To ensure compliance with 4.20.1(3), please
submit a revised copy of Map King II-005 showing the details of
underground workings for at least the current 5-year permit term (planned
locations, orientations, and dimensions of the mine's rooms and pillars).
This information enables evaluation of subsidence impacts.
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
