It is important during reclamation of the site that native vegetation be
replaced .to its current state. For more speck information on native vegetation, consult the local
NRCS office. Without adequate reclamation, the site could experience erosion problems. This makes
efforts to revegetate the site as part of the reclamation even more important.
The Division requests that the overburden top soil be stock piled for use during the reclamation
process. An effort should be made to treat for any noxious weeds that may invade the disturbed site.
Grading of slopes should be in a 4:1 ratio.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this reclamation permit application. If you have any
questions or require additional information, please contact_ District Wildlife Manager Jeromy Huntington
at 719 -227 -5283 or via e-mail at ieromy.huntingtonca- state.co.us
Sincerely, ,
C•
Shaun Deeney
Area Wildlife Manager
xc: File, SE: Regional Office, Jeromy Huntington, DWM
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, James B.
