Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />a <br />Granby, Colorado 80446 <br />Re: Pickering Family Pit, File No. M-2009-086, Receipt of 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit <br />Application Package <br />Dear Mr. Pratt: <br />On November 20, 2009 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received your 112 <br />Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Application package for the Pickering Family Pit, File No. M-2009- <br />086. Preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items must be received <br />before the Division can consider your application as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />APPLICATION FORM: <br />1. Please select a quarter/quarter section on page 2 of the application form. <br />EXHIBIT A - Legal Description (Rule 6.4.1): The legal description must identify the affected land and be <br />wholly adequate for field location of the property. It can be in the form of metes and bounds survey or a <br />description by reference to township, range and section to at least the nearest quarter quarter section. <br />Where applicable, the street address or lot numbers may be used. <br />2. As indicated in Item #1, please provide the Division with location information for the mining area to at <br />least the nearest quarter quarter section. <br />3. The applicant states, "See Exhibit A-1" for the legal description for the access road. Please provide a <br />legal description for the access road in Exhibit A. <br />4. The Applicant indicates 19.9 acres will be permitted for the Pickering Family Pit on the Application <br />Form however, only 15 acres are indicated on the Exhibit A.
