• <br />On July 31, 2009, Twentymile Coal Company published in the Steamboat Pilot the fourth <br />consecutive weekly notice of the availability of an administratively complete permit <br />application package. No public comments were received. <br />On September 24, 209, CO-DRMS published a newspaper notice in the Craig Daily <br />Press a notice of its proposed decision. No public comments were received. <br />The CO-DRMS determined that $30,099,557.00 is adequate for the total reclamation of <br />Colorado Permit C-1981-010 associated with this mining plan. CO-DBMS currently <br />holds a bond for $20,606,900.00. Trapper Mining, Inc. submitted the additional <br />$9,493,665.00 in bond on October 15, 2009. The bond is payable to the State and the <br />United States of America. <br />A chronology of events related to the processing of the PAP and this mining plan decision <br />is included with the decision document. The information in the PAP, and other <br />information identified in the decision document, has been reviewed by CO-DRMS staff <br />in coordination with the OSM Federal Lands State Coordinator. <br />OSM's administrative record of this mining plan modification consists of the following: <br />• - the PAP submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc., and updated through August 31, <br />2009, <br />- the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's (CO-DRMS) <br />Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) Proposed Decision - Permit Revision <br />Application No. 6 (PR-6) Proposed Trapper Mine Plan for 5 Year Permit Term <br />2008-2012, <br />- the Supplemental Environmental Assessment for Trapper Mine Federal Coal <br />Leases C-07519 and C-0 79641 prepared by OSM, <br />- correspondence developed during the review of the PAP. <br />Attachments <br />0
