Musick <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, & Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) Permit Revision Application No. 6 (PR-6) Proposed <br />Trapper Mine Plan for 5 Year Permit Term 2008-2012 (CHS #54171) <br />Dear Mr. Musick: <br />Thank you for your emailed correspondence dated and received by our office on July 8, 2009, which <br />provided additional documentation regarding the subject project. <br />Is As the proposed permit revision application (PR-6) involves surface disturbance within the current <br />permit area, which has previously been inventoried for historic properties and for which consultation <br />with our office has previously occurred, our office concurs that a finding of no historic properties <br />affected is appropriate for the proposed permit revision. <br />Should unidentified archaeological resources be discovered in the course of the project, work must be <br />interrupted until the resources have been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic Places <br />eligibility criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
