Page 2
Annual Report / Cross Gold Mine Permit M- 1977 -410
To the: DRMS
November 03, 2009
By: Tom Hendricks
8. Barring down and safety work was maintained on the tunnel level of the
Cross Mine throughout the year.
9. Ventilation was well maintained on the tunnel level and air flows were taken.
10. Bulk sampling on the tunnel level Rare Metals, Crown Point, Juliet and
Apache vein systems was completed for metallurgical test work programs
being conducted at a lab in Wheatridge, Colo. (RDI, Inc.) Bulk sampling was
also completed with a back hoe and trenching procedure on the Cross Mine
dump area for metallurgical test work at RDI.
11. Vein sampling took place on the tunnel level Apache vein.
12. Significant work continued at SRK Engineers in Lakewood, Colorado to
enhance and improve the data base in the Vulcan - Maptek 3 dimensional
program for the Cross Mine and Caribou district mines.
13. An equal amount of work was completed all year to develop business plans,
and finance models and data for numerous finance groups looking at the
Cross Gold Mine project. Numerous meetings took place both in Denver and
at the Cross Gold Mine for this effort.
14. The buildings and surface plants were maintained all long.
- - - 15: The company continued to provide educational and for school
groups and special interest groups. During this reporting period a total of 18
separate tour groups visited the Cross Gold Mine with a total of 520 people
participating. This brings the number to over 40,000 visitors since 1971.
16. The company continued to work with Union Milling Co. of Lakewood,
Colorado on permit work and planning work for the small mill at Leadville,
Colorado.
17. Both myself and Dave Young completed our eight hour MSHA safety
Training at the Edgar Mine with Harry Lovely. We also maintained high
levels of safety training and record keeping throughout the year.
In summary, it was a very busy year for us at the Cross Mine Operation. The key
emphasis has been on closing a fair and reasonable project financing so we can
commence and fully reopen the mine in early 2010. We look forward towards
working with the DRMS on future permit expansion plans.
Please con t me if you have any questions or require any additional information.
Sincerely,
S
Thomas S. endricks
Attachments; Check and Form Letter
CC: Mr. Dave Young — President / Mr. John R.
