Stress-Strain Curve for Q-Floor Mudstone Sample from 07-G17-CCR from <br />227 ft below Collar <br />Strength estimates from these tests may vary from the in situ rock mass strengths for the <br />following reasons. <br />• -Nests are performed on small intact samples not containing natural fractures. <br />• Frail samples from disturbed rock are difficult to prepare and generally do not survive liar <br />testing. <br />The laboratory test results must be adjusted to account for these two factors. <br />Characterization from the borehole logs are used to adjust these intact rock properties to those <br />expected in situ.
