• Provide the Division with a material movement schedule based on SPLP testing results
demonstrating adequate measures to prevent release of contaminants following disposal.
• Initiate removal of the material within 60 days following resumption of milling
operations.
DRAINAGE CONTROL
Normal conditions on the mill site only involve drainage of surface water during spring
snow melt conditions. Three years of observation of water generated by snow melt and rainfall
indicate no runoff from this property to any other.
A naturally occurring drainage channel exists on the property (See Exhibit E - Map,
MLR1). Roads and culverts were built over and around this natural channel so as not to disturb
it. This channel provides upland drainage and diverts water drainage, if it occurs, from the site.
This natural drainage will be maintained during the life of the operation. Upon final
reclamation, minor changes will be made in this channel (See Exhibit E - Map, MLR3). The
natural contour of the terrain is amenable to the proposed final reclamation plan.
M1990-057 November 25, 2009
