• Name of specialist and date: Hunter Seim, 5/20/08
WILDLIFE, TERRESTRIAL
Affected Environment: The proposed project area provides habitat for pronghorn antelope,
mule deer and elk. This area does not support critical winter habitat for any of these three
species. A variety of small mammals, songbirds and reptiles may be found within the
project area.
Environmental Consequences, Proposed Action: Underground mining activities are not
likely to impact any terrestrial wildlife species populations. There is potential that some
surface disturbance could occur as a result of related mine activities. These disturbances
could result in short term or long term reductions in habitat. These disturbances would
likely be small in nature and would not result in loss of habitat great enough to impact any
species.
Environmental Consequences, No Action: There would be no impacts to any terrestrial
wildlife species.
Mitigative Measures: None
Name of specialist and date: Timothy Novotny, 5/20/08
• OTHER NON-CRITICAL ELEMENTS: For the following elements, those brought forward
for analysis will be formatted as shown above.
Non-Critical Element NA or Not Applicable or Applicable & Present and
PrPSent Present- Nn imnact BmuQht Forward for Analvsis
Fluid Minerals JAM 5/211108
Forest Management JAM
5/21/08
Hydrology/Ground MW 4/29/08
Hydrology/Surface 00 8
Paleontology M ?K 4x'29/08
Range Management J I Is 5!20!08
Realty Authorizations I.M 05/01/0 8
Recreation/Travel M mt RS 5!5'08
Socio-Economics I_,M 0.5/011/08
Solid Minerals JANVI 5/2j08
Visual Resources RS 5/5:08
Wild Horse & Burro M mt 1:1M 5:`21 !08
Wildlife, Aquatic l ti
5 20/08
0
