EXHIBIT G - WATER INFORMATION
This operation is not expected to directly affect groundwater systems in this
area. Groundwater will not be exposed during this operation. No chemicals
are used in the processing of the materials at this site.
Surface Water
There are no surface water courses passing through the anticipated mining
area. Exhibit G-1 indicates the locations of all known surface water courses
near this operation. During mining, runoff from the site could carry
sediment downhill. The operator will make all best efforts to prevent
sediment from leaving the site. The site currently has a Stormwater
Discharge Management Plan and a permit will be obtained upon approval of
the MLRB permit.
Ad*acent Water Rights
Exhibit G-1 also indicates the location of water rights in the area. None of
these water rights will be impacted by this operation.
Groundwater
Exhibit G-1 also indicates the locations of water wells in the vicinity of the
mining site. All listed wells are located upgradient from this mining
operation. It is not expected that groundwater will be exposed during this
mining operation. Normal maintenance procedures will be used with all
equipment at the site to prevent leaks or spills from potentially entering the
groundwater.
Water Quality
The proposed operation will not discharge waters directly to any water
course located near the site. Water quality of the Colorado River is not
expected to be impacted by this operation.
