<br />The Division of Declamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116,
<br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on ?'ovember 9, 20a9, an application to revise coal xrlining operations at
<br />the 1?1k Creels and Sanborn Creep Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by
<br />Dxbow ining,l_,LC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate frorr? this date of
<br />filipg.
<br />This Technical Revision provides for the addition of as many as thirty-three gab vent boreholes at the Elk Creek Mine,
<br />Twenty-seven drill pads and associated temporary, light use roads will be installed; the boreholes will be fitted with pumps for
<br />mine ventilation, and eventually reclaimed,
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approxirr?tely 4 Wailes I?arth of Somerset, Colorado The permit
<br />area is further described as follows:

<br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the tune of
<br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this apphication at the Paonia Public library,
<br />Z Third Avenue, Paonia, Colorado S 148; at the Delta and Gunnison County Planning Departments; and ax the Division office.
