LL 9 <br />c/i -5 <br />Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or <br />C A ?? / - <br />)DVD): 7, Ai <br />program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer m order to use a RMS imaging <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase =IS be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the Alf extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfaaView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be Wm gti as your default .tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. NOTE: A prognun called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit FIIe document Images can be viewed V the reception area of the DBMS oAke or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
