A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a ?ItMS imaging <br />the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase i0 be in the . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. C-0 _ <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or'?&W and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does wort DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfimView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.conr, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be con$gt;ed as your default tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. ' Allow time'for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE; A program called QuickView Autorua, which aura the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autotun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.mining.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document Images cam be viewed V the recepdo• area of the DBMS otflee or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD.
