• grazed into late September or early October Grazing will not be continuous throughout the growing
season in every year. Where grazing occurs on reclaimed and adjacent lands under control during the
liability period; azea to be grazed, proper stocking rates, and grazing periods will be specified to the
grazing lessee. This information will be based on vegetation production data from monitoring
studies, size of pasture units, and management needs such as rest or grazing deferments. Any interim
fencing will be established towazds the need for special management or consideration of the ongoing
mining operation. The permit azea will be fenced to exclude livestock and access to non-mine
personnel. However, upon completion of operations and reclamation activities, permanent fencing
will be emplaced as soon as possible. The final fencing patterns will approximate pre*r++r•+*+g patterns
or current property owner boundaries at the time in order to restore the pretnining pasture units.
Stock ponds removed by mining will be replaced in the posttt»ning landscape either as close to the
original location as practicable or in locations to improve management. Additional stock ponds may
be constructed in drainages to stabilize the landscape and provide additional water. These tanks will
be designed and permitted as needed (See Exhibit 20-2, Posttnining Topography for location).
Sediment ponds will be considered far retention as well.

n
LJ
TR31 6a Revised 04/07
