These seed mixes will prevent <br />erosion and provide forage and cover for animals. The pinyon and juniper trees along the eastern <br />slope will not be removed and will not need replacement. <br />5. Post-Reclamation Site Drainage <br />Ditch #1 will continue to diver stormwater, encountered in the southern portion of the pit, around <br />the pit to an unnamed channel. Ditches #2, #3 and #4 will channel stormwater into the two grass <br />lined channels. Ditches #5 and #6 will be installed while topsoiling the Center Pivot Field. These <br />ditches will be used to handle stormwater and excess irrigation water in the Center Pivot Field. <br />See Map F. Ditches #5 and #6 will divert the water encountered in the Center Pivot Field to the <br />pit floor which will also be irrigated pasture.
