The material was loaded into CAT 777 haul trucks and transported to the topsoil <br />stockpile located south of the LOB haul road. The stockpile was maintained using a CAT D-8 <br />dozer. All topsoil has been removed from the entire VLF footprint as of the 15th of October <br />2009. <br />D) Subgrade Preparation <br />1) VLF <br />Subgrade preparation was performed between stations J0+00 (+/-) and J4+00 (+/-), <br />approximately 100 to 150 feet right of centerline. A CAT D-10 dozer was used to rip the <br />subgrade surface to a depth of 6" to 8". The subgrade was then moisture conditioned using a <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 10. 1 7.09.D.doc
