The Report is to be submitted semi-annually, per the requirements of Technical
Revision No. 99 (TR-99) to Permit No. C-1980-010, incorporated into Section 3.3.3 of the application
as pages 3-27a, 3-27b, 3-27c and 3-27d. The Division has the following comments in regard to the
GMR:
Data for one benchmark, collected on 9/8/09, appears to be anomalous when compared with prior
readings at that location. The site in question is 07-GI6 BM, and a displacement of 6.282' is reported
for cumulative vertical and 3D displacements.
Please verify whether it is accurate; and if it is accurate, please provide the Division with additional
analysis and explanation of the changes observed and any issues this apparent movement may
portend.
With the exception of the point listed above, the October 2009 Semi-Annual Geotechnical Monitoring
Report provided by Trapper Mining, Inc. is in general compliance with the requirements of Permit C-
1981-010. Measurements have been made in accordance with the seasonal schedule described on
page 3-27a of the permit. Thank you for the timely submittal.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
