Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve <br />with conditions a revision application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by <br />Twentymile Coal Company on May 21, 2009, for the Foidel Creek Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the Steamboat Pilot. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 23 miles Southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br />In portions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4N, R86W; Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W; Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 <br />and 36 in T5N, R87W; and all of T5N, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, and 36. (move to Quad: Cow <br />Creek, Dunckley, Milner, Mount Harris, and Oak Creek) <br />Copies of the revision application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Routt County Clerk and Recorder.
