Division Director <br />8120 Gage St. Natural Resource Trustee <br />Frederick, CO 80516 <br />RE: Kurtz Resource Recovery and Land Development Project; DRMS File No. M-1999-006; <br />Technical Revision - 02; Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Janes, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Minim; and Safety (Division) has completed its adequacy review <br />of your application for the Technical Revision to the above referenced permit. The application <br />was received and called complete for review on October 5, 2009. The decision date for this <br />application is November 16, 2009. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily <br />address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your <br />responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues <br />that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no <br />extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />Dewatering Basins <br />The Applicant has provided the Division with a summary of twenty-four (24) months of <br />electricity charges for the dewatering pump at the Kurtz site. The electricity bills provide the <br />Division with a monthly cost to operate the dewatering pump. The Division calculates the <br />cost to dewater based on a per hour cost.
