Technical Revision - 02; Adequacy Review
Dear Mr. Janes,
The Division of Reclamation, Minim; and Safety (Division) has completed its adequacy review
of your application for the Technical Revision to the above referenced permit. The application
was received and called complete for review on October 5, 2009. The decision date for this
application is November 16, 2009. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily
address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your
responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues
that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no
extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application.
Dewatering Basins
The Applicant has provided the Division with a summary of twenty-four (24) months of
electricity charges for the dewatering pump at the Kurtz site. The electricity bills provide the
Division with a monthly cost to operate the dewatering pump. The Division calculates the
cost to dewater based on a per hour cost. Please provide the Division with the cost per hour
to operate the dewatering pump.
