highwall are not moved to a safe location within the permit area, it is likely that it will continue to be disturbed
by the ongoing mining and reclamation operation. This issue is cited as a problem at the end of this report
and will require corrective actions to be taken by the operator. Any topsoil material that will be disturbed by
the ongoing mining operation will need to be relocated to a safe location within the permit area. The
remaining portion of topsoil that has been excavated into will need to be re-located as soon as possible so it
will not be disturbed any further by the mining operation or erosion.
On the northern end of the permit boundary, there is an area where several small excavations have occurred
and several mounds of material are located. Similarly, at the southeast end of the affected land there are also
several small mounds of material. The operator has utilized the mine site recently near the southwest end of
the affected land, the topsoil has been striped and material has been excavated.
No other problems were observed at this time.

:????'`.f';>'.;i-tea..-;,.:•..?._ .
land looking north east.
1: igurc 2.)
