A well would be used once or twice a week to pump water into the tank to make up for lost water due to evaporation. The well would pump somewhere around 28 gpm and be used to fill the tank that holds maybe 2,700 gallons (i.e. fill up the tank with maybe 1,500 gallons a couple of times a week) In that sense the well would be pumping for maybe an hour or two once or twice a week- There are provisions for revisions in both our regs and the state regs. In general Boyd plans to keep the operation about 5 acres in size. If he later moves into a new area, he would work to reclaim what had already been worked so the overall operation would remain about the same size. He does have his hours of operation listed in his permit so that question has been answered. In my write up_.. I missed that.
