Application shall be 400 tons of the mixture per acre to achieve 4" of coverage, assuming a weight of 0.4 tons/cubic
yard (mixture). A staging area for this growth medium is near the top of the Tailings Impoundment shown in
Exhibit E. Temporary erosion control measure shall be implemented around this area (ie silt fence, straw bales).
In the appendix of this Exhibit T, there is description of biosolids recycling done by the Rocky Mountain Water
Environment Association.
6.4.20(17)(c)(iv)
Because of the nature of the incremental, phased reclamation proposed, there will be an opportunity to measure the
success of this re-vegetation plan and provide for a chance to modify the method with soil amendments and/or
fertilizers on a as needed basis.
6.4.20(18)(a)
This operation can only improve the existing wildlife habitat. Pre-existing waste rock that is producing toxic and
acidic conditions is being removed and processed. This will provide for a net gain of more hospitable wildlife
habitat and along with the prescribed reclamation measures in Exhibit D increase vegetation for wild grazing.
See the statement from the CO Division of Wildlife contained in Exhibit B.
6.4.20(18)(b)
There are no designated chemicals to be used in this operation, therefore wildlife protection measures for these are
not necessary.
6.4.20(19)
There will be no placement of tailings and/or sludges into underground mine workings as part of this operation.
42189
7
Appendix to Exhibit T
• USGS Bulletin 1208, Plate 2, Generalized Geologic Map and Sections of the Idaho SpAmrs
Colorado
• NOAA Monthly Precipitation Totals, Georgetown and Idaho Springs
• Wind speed and Prevailing Direction (as reported by the Western Regional Climate Center)
• NOAA Monthly Temperature Data, Evergreen
• Pan evaporation rate (as reported by the Western Regional Climate Center)
• RMWEA Biosolids Recycling
• Tabulated water rights within a specific region of Clear Creek
• US EPA Station CC-34 Clear Creek Surface Water Quality Data
• CDPHE Station 000132 Clear Creek Surface Water Quality Data
• USGS Station 06716500 Clear Creek Streamflow Data
• CDPHE Water Quality Control Div., Clear Creek "Segment 2c" Standards
27
