Public Notice <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the <br />Colorado Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on October 8, 2009, a minor revision application <br />(MR-358) to the West Elk Mine, Permit No. C-1980-007, operated by Mountain Coal Company, <br />LLC, P.O. Box 591, Somerset, CO 81434 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The <br />operator proposes to construct an electric powerline for the mine's coal preparation plant. The <br />proposed work will be on privately-owned, previously disturbed land.
