Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a now instillation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase me be in the R1 A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif oftsion. There needs lo be an image viewing application for.tif Ma on your computer that will handle single and multi age documents. On a Windows XP computer, the dehult viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax viewer" or "Paint" and they do not with QuickView. The Imaging viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrhnView", which can be downloaded from IrfinView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured L your dehult.tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. - Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD $om the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonus, which runs the QuwkVww setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT wadi, you will need to manually install the QuickVWw program bdmcdm for manually instilling QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed In the recepdon area of the DRMS oAlee or they can be purebased on a CD or DVD. The CDMVD purchase toot coven the time and labor of making the CD. DBMS cannot provide computer related support.
