The proposed use will continue to be compatible <br />with the existing surrounding land uses as <br />projected by the City of Greeley Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />e. The subject site is in a Flood Hazard Overlay <br />District area. Development Standards address this <br />concern. This property is located in the A-P <br />(Airport) Overlay District. The uses proposed will <br />not endanger or interfere with the landing, <br />takeoff, or maneuvering of aircraft intending to <br />use the airport. <br />f. Special Review permit Development Standards provide <br />adequate protection of the health, safety, and <br />welfare of the neighborhood and the County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the application to <br />amend a Special Review permit for open-pit mining and materials <br />processing to add an asphalt batch plant and to update the <br />extraction schedule on the hereinabove described parcel of land <br />be, and hereby is, granted subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The attached Development Standards for the Special <br />Review permit be adopted and placed on the Special <br />Review plat prior to recording the plat. <br />2. The Special Review activity shall not occur nor shall <br />any building or electrical permits be issued on the <br />property until the Special Review plat has been <br />delivered to the Department of Planning Services Office <br />and the plat is ready to be recorded in the office of <br />the Weld County Clerk and Recorder. <br />3. The following note shall be placed on the Special Review <br />plat: <br />NOTE: The Mined Land Reclamation Board has the <br />authority to issue permits for mining and <br />reclamation activities. Activities related to <br />mining and reclamation are therefore under the <br />jurisdiction of the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board; however, Weld County has jurisdiction <br />of those matters outlined in the Development <br />Standards. <br />4. Prior to recording the plat, a plan for the abatement <br />and control of fugitive dust on the site shall be <br />871400
