Re: Foidel Creek Mine, Permit No. C1982-056, PR8 Request for Decision Extension to November 13, 2009.
Dear Mr. Nettleton:
On October 16, 2009 Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) submitted a request via e-mail to extend the
proposed decision date for Permit Revision No. 8 (PR8). The Division reviewed the RN8 application, and
sent an adequacy letter to TCC on July 28, 2009. TCC provided responses to the Divisions adequacy
concerns on September 18, 2009. The Division sent a second adequacy letter to TCC on September 28, 2009.
TCC replied with responses to the Division's second adequacy letter on October 2, 2009. Additional
information was required regarding one of TCC's responses, so the Division e-mailed a third adequacy letter
to the operator on October 13, 2009. In order to allow adequate time for TCC's response and the Division's
subsequent review, TCC has requested the proposed decision date for PR8 be extended to November 13,
2009. The Division concurs with this request. The proposed decision date for PR8 has been extended to
November 13, 2009.
