Box 1289 <br />Montrose, CO 81402 <br />Re: Permit Issuance <br />Permit Renewal No. 5 (RN-5) <br />New Horizon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-008) <br />Dear Montrose County Commissioners: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety renewed Mining Permit No. C-1981-008 for <br />the New Horizon Mine on October 8, 2009, allowing coal mining and reclamation operations to continue <br />under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The permit was <br />issued to Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC, P.O.
