Page 3 of3
affecting groundwater quality Quarterly water quality monitoring will be completed at the following
locations:
• Seep within Idaho Permit boundary (see Attachment D for existing water quality data)
• La Plata River upstream of Deadwood Gulch
• La Plata River downstream of Deadwood Gulch
• Colluvium seepage in May Day underground workings
Conclusion
WMC is of the stance that the proposed changes to the permit conditions fall within the bounds of a
Technical Revision and is submitting these changes as such. Additionally, WMC does not believe that
the proposed changes meet the definitions of a Designated Mining Operation since there will be no
hazardous or acidic materials produced or brought onto the site. Please consider this request, and contact
myself (970) 799-0584 or Mike Thompson (WMC) 970-565-0278 if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Mike Clements
Wildcat Mining Corp.
CC: Steve Shuey/DRMS
Mike Thompson/WMC
Attachments Enclosed:
A: Water Rights
B: MSDS Sheets
C: SPLP Analysis of Ores
D: Idaho Seep Water Quality
Technical Revision to the May Day Mine Permit, September 12, 2009.
