Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has begun the review process for the above referenced 112c <br />Co1Ilversion application. The project appears to be a straight forward request to convert the existing 110c to a <br />112c increasing the disturbed acreage from 7.57 acres to 21.75 acres. A review of the application has revealed a <br />feud clarifications and issues that need to be addressed. <br />i <br />I <br />1) Per Rule 1.6.5(2), within ten days after the last publication or as soon thereafter as proof has been obtained, <br />the applicant shall mail proof of publication required by Rule 1.6.2(1)(d) to this office. Proof of publication <br />may consist of either a copy of the last newspaper publication, to include the date; published, or a notarized <br />statement from the news paper. An application may not be approved until such proof has been obtained. <br />Please provide this office a proof of publication. <br />I <br />I <br />2) Per Rule 6.4.3(e), the pre - mine plan map must indicate the type of present vegetation covering affected <br />lands. Please submit a pre-mine plan map that identifies the vegetation that currently exists at the site. <br />Thi is a preliminary review. Other issues may arise from other agency comments, and as more information is <br />sup lied. This application cannot be approved until the issues brought forth are adequately addressed. Please <br />sub it a response to the following issues as soon as possible, but no later than October 19, 2009 so the decision <br />due date set for October 28, 2009 can be met.
