To the best of my knowledge the list of names below is complete.
• Scott Collignon Poppy Harshman
• Bill Karls Jason and Amy Aweida
• Mike Clement Raejean Riegel
• Lisa Giovanniello David Linden
• Phil Vigil. LPCC
Wallace, please clarify my confusion as to whether an established Party Member
will loose that status if a letter (of opposition) is not sent in each time the original permit
is amended. This was brought to my attention when Ken and Venice Fagerlin's name did
not appear on the list of Party Status Members. Their address is: Ken and Venice
Fagerlin, 4398 County Road 124, Hesperus.
The other issue we discussed was whether Wildcat Mining is allowed to use
explosives and continue to work on site when stop work orders have been issued from
both your office and the La Plata County. Explosions were reported to be heard by
Mayday residences on 8/24, 8/25 and 8/27. Amy Aweida stated that she called you to
report the explosions and your response was the same as it was with me: you are too busy
to investigate the reported explosions. My question to you is how can a corp. with no
established access, a bridge that is sub-standard for emergency vehicles, and stop work
orders continue to work using explosives multiple days in a row without investigation
and/or repercussions? After all, you are "Mining Safety."
Please send me a letter in res onse. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely: Lisa
Cil, r
cc: Steve Shuey
La Plata County Planning: Cole Everett
August 28, 2009
