GEOTECHNICAL STABILITY EXHIBIT
EXHIBIT U
There are no buildings or any structures outside the permit area which could be affected by the
operation. A minimum 25 foot buffer will be maintained from the permit boundary line to all
excavations. All reclaimed areas will be restored to relatively flat (<3.5%) slopes except for the
lake slopes, which will be reclaimed to a 3H:1 V slope. The material of these slopes will be fine
overburden and fines from processing, which will be compacted during placement. These slopes
have always been very stable in all gravels and original soils in this area therefore; no detailed
stability analysis is presented.
yI tt?yF .gOp Cdi' SRv ?'r ,
'Wf D
Ulu,
20335
°
? 9 ? r a
P°
° xo
e v
Gehrman Pit October 09
r
Greg Lewicki, PE
U-1
